Tournament Rules / Information Sheet October 24, 2010

Do not post your score. Your score will be posted by the Tournament Chairman

 

The following is subject to changes or modifications prior to the start of the tournament

 

You will be allowed to Lift, Clean and Place within 12 inches(Length of your score card) no closer to the hole. You cannot take line of site, swing or stance relief from trees unless allowed under Local or USGA rules. This is not allowed in any type of Hazard or Bunker.

 

Fallen trees, limbs, branches(even if still attached to the trunk), structured piles of debris, etc. will be deemed “Debris to be eventually removed by the course”.  You will be allowed lift, clean and place to the nearest point of relief for stance, swing and line of site.

 

Ground under repair not defined or if your ball is located or deemed lost in an area were a water line is broken or being repaired, you are allowed a free drop from the nearest point of relief no closer to the hole provided your entire group agrees to the situation.

 

Should there be damage on the green and your putt or chip would roll through it, you are allowed relief no closer to the hole. If you were off the green your relief must result in play from off the green. Relief does not apply if you are off the green and your intended shot would travel over and land clear of the damaged area.

 

All other situations as defined under the 2010 USGA rules of golf or as defined in the WPMC Local rules.

 

Tournament Format  :   Regular Flights will be stroke play with net scores

                                          

Skins          :   Each hole will be worth $20. Gross Skins will play scratch. Net will play 80% of Handicap. The lowest Handicap player will get zero with all others assigned the difference between their handicap and the lowest players handicap. Should there be a tie on 18 the remaining skins will be divided.

 

Flights  :   3 member flights paying 6 places ($35, $30, $25, $20, $15, $10)

                   1 Guest flight (only 4 players so no flight awards)

 

Closest to the pin   :   All 5 Par 3’s ($10 Pro Shop certificate for each winner)

Open to all players including Guest
